Bollywood super star Salman Khan is well known for his controversial statements. One such new comment made by him has pulled him into a new controversy. Recent Uri attacks shook the sentiments of Indians and people started protesting against the Pakistani artists active in Indian film industry. MNS and BJP leaders too raised voice against the actors and actresses of Pakistan who’re working in Bollywood.

Political parties warned the artists to leave India within 48 hours and threatened of beating them if they fail to do so. ‘Sultan’ actor made a remark over the ban on Pakistani artists in Indian cinemas and mentioned them as artists and not as terrorists in his comment. ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ also praised the response given by Indian army to the perpetrators in Pakistan.

Appreciating the surgical operations initiated by Indian soldiers, the actor added that the Pakistani artists are not terrorists. CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani said that no Pakistani artist should be allowed to work in Bollywood as Indian artists are never given in chance in Pakistani films. Also he mentioned about the recent ban over Indian movies in Pakistan and condemned the support for Pakistani performers.

After the continuous threats and warnings, Pakistani artists went back to their country and the celluloid in which they have played some roles are also being suggested to expunge those scenes having roles rendered by the Pakistani artists. Political parties are threatening that they’ll not permit Karan Johar directed movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Raees’ release in theaters until filmmakers of those cinemas remove the roles played by Pakistani artists.
