Sonakshi Sinha led new Bollywood movie ‘Akira’ released on Friday, 2nd September 2016. It curbed very poor response than the expected. The film succeeded in opening with only 10% to 15% occupancy which the crew members never predicted. With mere one digit income on the first day, it has seized very low box office collection.
Thought the celluloid hit more than thousands of screens and has a very good storyline based on the life of a girl who doesn’t tolerate in evil activity in the society and always confronts with it so as to get justice, ‘Dabbang’ debutante’s latest Hindi cinema failed to create much impression over the public figure across the nation.
Followed by the helm promotions before some days of its release, star cast and makers also emphasized on creating interest among the crowds to watch this film, but the efforts didn’t pay off much as quite less occupancy was sought on the opening day. Earnings in the coming tenure will decide the chances of the film to get enlisted in the row of highest grossing movies of 2016.
The cinema performed well in morning shows as it grabbed sufficient repercussions in its opening period before noon, but the same was found declined in the afternoon session. Mitigations in the responses at theatres lowered the rate of income generation and hence the movie reported to arrogate very less collection on its first day of release.
