Ajay Devgan starred latest Bollywood movie ‘Shivaay’ crossed Rs 100 crores’ collection at Indian box office on 32nd day of its release. The film had minted Rs 98.15 crores at the end of third week. It took eleven more days for the celluloid to gross Rs 100 crore box office collection in India.

Ajay Devgan produced ‘Shivaay’ faced clash with Karan Johar directed ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. The multi starred cinema which featured Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan entered 100’s club many days before ‘Shivaay’ could. One month after the release, ‘Shivaay’ has reached the three digit figure of its box office income.

In recent days of fourth week of its release, Shivaay could earn only Rs 1.9 crores. Earning rate of the film declined as new Hindi cinemas ‘Rock On 2’, ‘Force 2’ and ‘Tum Bin 2’ released in 4th week. Though the movie struggled hard to make business at constant rate, it finally curbed Rs 100 crores collection at box office.

The movie has become the sixth film of Ajay Devgan to gross box office earnings of Rs 100 crores. The film is competing with ‘Son of Sardaar’ which made Rs 102 collection at box office. ‘Shivaay’ needs to earn Rs 2 crores more to break the record of Ajay Devgan’s ‘Son of Sardar’.
