Salman Khan Arms Act case : Jodhpur court to pronounce verdict today

On Wednesday (January 18), Jodhpur court is going to pronounce its verdict in a case where Bollywood actor Salman Khan has been charged under the Arms Act. The actor and his sister Alveera arrived in Jodhpur on Tuesday (January 17) evening. Salman will be appearing in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate today.

There are four cases against Salman and this is one of those cases. Forest department in Jodhpur had filed case against Salman Khan under the Arms Act in October, 1998 for alleged possession and use of arms with expired license during alleged poaching of two black bucks in Kankani village.

Salman has three poaching cases registered against him. In April 2006 and in August 2007, the actor has served time in the Jodhpur jail. In 2016, the actor was exonerated in one of the cases by Rajasthan High Court.

On the work front, Salman is currently busy shooting for Kabir Khan’s Tubelight which is scheduled to release on Eid 2017. The actor will soon start shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai which is slated to release on 22 Dec 2017. Apart from these films, Salman will also be seen in the leading character in Remo D’Souza’ next directorial venture.
