Rangoon 4th Day Collection 1st Monday Occupancy Business Income Report : Vishal Bhardwaj’s latest directorial venture competed with Jolly LLB 2 18th day collection and witnessed about 10% occupancy in morning shows. The multi-starrer cinema, which casts Kangana Ranaut and Shahid Kapoor in major roles, has received good response in north and central Indian states. The celluloid is expected to earn Rs 3.5 crore on 4th day of its release.
Releasing on February 24th, the Hindi flick hit across 1800 screens in India and raked a collection of Rs 6.07 crore. The film maintain consistency in its earnings and registered a business of Rs 6 crore on second day, which was its 1st Saturday in cinema halls. The movie reported little hike in its earnings on third day and minted Rs 6.15 crore on first Sunday.
As per BoxOfficeCollection.in, Saif Ali Khan starrer new Bollywood cinema grossed a total collection of Rs 18.25 crore in weekend days. Competing hard with Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2, the film Rangoon pocketed single digit income in initial three days. The movie also faced a box office clash with multilingual The Ghazi Attack, which has totalled a business of Rs 32.4 crore in ten days.

The film Rangoon, which is set during 1944’s events of second world war, received comparatively less responses than Subhash Kapoor’s courtroom drama. Hitting across hundreds of screens in foreign countries, the celluloid raked maximum business in north American nations (United States and Canada).
