Rangoon 3rd Day Collection 1st Sunday Occupancy Income Business Box Office Report : Vishal Bhardwaj’s latest Hindi movie Rangoon reported around 35% occupancy in the morning shows of day 3. The celluloid witnessed growth in the noon shows. It is expected see hike in evening shows of its release. The multi-starrer Bollywood flick is expected to earn Rs 10 crore on its 1st Sunday in the theatres.

Kicking off the box office journey with Rs 6.07 crore opening day collection, the movie showcased the audiences’ response for its story. Kangana Ranaut, Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan starrer latest celluloid exhibited consistency in the earnings on Saturday and grossed a collection of Rs 6 crore on day 2. Till now, the film has totalled a domestic collection of Rs 16.76 crore.

Rangoon performed well not only in India but also in overseas. The film registered an overall business of Rs 0.76 crore in international market. Performing well in northern American countries, the celluloid raked a total collection of Rs 0.59 crore in United States and Canada. While the movie reported comparatively less response in UK and garnered Rs 0.11 crore collection.

The multi-starrer film experienced poor response in Australia and New Zealand as it pocketed Rs 0.09 crore and Rs 0.03 crore, respectively. On Sunday (February 26), the latest Hindi flick has witnessed growth in the footfalls of audiences in the cinema halls. Contending with Jolly LLB 2 17th day collection, Rangoon is expected make a total business of Rs 11 crore on day 3.

Apart from the recent releases, which including Running Shaadi, Irada, Chauhar, The Ghazi Attack and Jolly LLB 2, Subhash Kapoor’s courtroom drama has been the major competitor for Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor’s cinema. The film is expected to observe surge in the income against the second franchise of Jolly LLB, which has collected a total income of Rs 108.21 crore in 16 days of its release.

Meanwhile, Rangoon‘s screening in south Indian states has not grew in weekend days. As Suriya, Shruti Hassan and Anushka Shetty starrer Singam 3 has a good hold in the Telugu speaking states like Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Vishal Bhardwaj’s directorial venture reported a decent occupancy in the cinema halls there.

Also the Telugu version of Taapsee Pannu and Rana Daggubati starrer The Ghazi Attack is experiencing helm response from the spectators. In north Indian states, Rangoon movie witnessed an average occupancy in theatres. The film felt maximum response from the movie-goers in central Indian states like Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and nearby regions.
