Raees vs Kaabil Worldwide Box Office Collection Prediction : Shah Rukh Khan starrer upcoming Bollywood movie Raees is all set to have a box office clash with Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil. Both the films are about to open in Indian theatres on January 25, the day before Republic Day in India.
This will be the second time for the Krrish hero to have a box office clash of his celluloid with the cinema starring one of most popular superstar in Hindi film industry. Last year, Hrithik’s Mohenjo Daro faced harsh implications of hitting the screens on same date when Akshay Kumar, Esha Gupta and Ileana D’Cruz starrer celluloid Rustom opened in the cinema halls.
Seeing the growth in online ticket booking, trade analysts have expected that these latest Bollywood flicks will amass a good income in the initial days of release. In an interview with BollywoodLife, Senior Roshan has predicted that both the films will together earn Rs 300 crore.
Rakesh Roshan told the website, “I am happy about one thing. We both together will do Rs. 300 crore. Aamir and Salman’s single films have earned Rs 300 crore. Here two films together will earn Rs. 300 crore. But then both the films have the potential to individually earn Rs 300 crore if they were not clashing with each other”.
On the very first day, which is a day before the Indian Republic Day, both Mahira Khan’s debut Bollywood film and Yami Gautam starrer flick are expected to gross around Rs 20 crore to Rs 25 crore. Major reason behind this kind of opening will be nothing but the collision between the films at India’s box office.
After seeing the online ticket booking for these movies, one can expect that huge number of people are going to crowd in the cinema halls. If the stardom of both the superstars is compared, SRK’s fans are more expected to walk to the theatres where Raees will be screened.
Second day is going to be a significant period for the movies’ all shows in morning, afternoon as well as evening. As people will be having holiday on 26th January as it is celebrated annually as Republic Day in all over India, both cinemas may conquer in expanding their businesses by turning the millions of eyeballs to the theatre screens.
People will have holiday on January 26 which they are expected to utilise in watching the newly released films. Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer film as well as Yami Gautam’s movie might show growth in their earnings on the 2nd day of their openings in cinema halls. Income of the latest Bollywood flicks is expected to lie in the same range of opening day’s collection.
Third and fourth days of their release, which will be Friday and Saturday, might witness a slight decline in the box office earnings of Kaabil and Raees which are produced under the banners of FilmKraft Productions as well as Red Chilies Entertainment and Excel Entertainment, respectively. After agglomerating an ample earnings in initial three days, the cinemas are predicted to earn Rs 15 crore to Rs 20 crore on 3rd and 4th days.
On Sunday, both Hindi celluloid may see hike in the number of audiences in theatres. The free time for people on Sunday to watch the films will be the key factor for Sanjay Gupta directed movie as well as Rahul Dholakia directed cinema which are expected to amass Rs 25 crore to Rs 30 crore in weekend.
Both megastars’ celluloid are expected to succeed in pocketing a good double digit income in overseas. First weekend of the films in international market may curb affluent response from the fans of Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan living in foreign countries. Kaabil and Raees might succeed in garnering a worldwide opening in a range of Rs 30 crore to Rs 40 crore.
