Raees First Day Collection Prediction : Shah Rukh Khan starrer movie is all set to release on 2600 screens in India. Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s latest Hindi flick, which also marks the debut of Pakistani actress Mahira in Bollywood industry, is expected to make an opening day business of Rs 20 crore to Rs 25 crore at box office.
Trailer of the celluloid, which was released in December last year, was watched by millions of people. This stunning response from the fans of SRK is expected to culminate on the day of movie’s release. Trade analysts expect that the Nawaz’s second cinema after recently released Haraamkhor might amass an astounding double digit collection on very initial day.
Rahul Dholakia’s directorial project will witness a box office clash with Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil, which is also releasing on January 25th. Opening of this Yami Gautam and Krrish hero starrer flick is expected to hinder the income of SRK’s celluloid. The collision between these much anticipated cinemas is expected to dilapidate their journey at box office.
The new Hindi cinema of SRK is expected to show expedition in the rate of its earnings with the passage of days. Raees, with its predicted box office score of Rs 20 to Rs 25 crore, is expected to break the records of previous movies of Shah Rukh Khan — Dear Zindagi and FAN. Alia Bhatt starrer film had minted Rs 8.75 crore on first day while FAN had earned Rs 19.20 crore.
Mahir Khan’s debut Indian celluloid might find it tough to surpass the first day collection of SRK’s most successful film Happy New Year, in which Sonu Sood, Boman Irani, Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Vivaan Shah and Abhishek Bachchan were seen in major roles. Raees may probably overtake multistarrer Dilwale which had garnered Rs 21 crore on opening day.
Though the films — Raees and Kaabil are set to face a competition in their box office business, famous filmmaker Rakesh Roshan predicted while talking to a leading online website that both the movies will together earn Rs 300 crore. Let’s see whether the words from Kaabil‘s producer come true or not.
On other hand, Aamir Khan’s Dangal is still grossing remarkable collection. The celluloid, which is based on the life journey of popular Indian wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, has clinched an overall total collection of Rs 709.92 crore in international market. Nitesh Tiwari directed movie, which also features TV actress Sakshi Tanwar in major character, is expected to exhibit prosperity in its box office earnings in coming days.
