Kabir Khan interacted with our news reporters, after winning an award of best film for 2015 super hit blockbuster ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, at ‘IIFA 2016’. Director of Salman Khan’s upcoming Bollywood movie ‘Tubelight’ shared his opinions about his films with ‘Bodyguard’ actor and described why people love to watch real life films.
He said,”Well, Bajrangi was my second film with Salman and the first one was, as I keep saying that big churning of our personalities trying to get long. I came from a different world and is the same case with him. Fortunately, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ was a big success, but at the end of it what really worked was that both countries began to understand each other.”
“That was how ‘Bajrangi’ began which was the blend of real story and real character larger than life. Today’s generation expects that fresh celluloid should be based on real life stories and Salman Khan’s action films are quite successful in grossing immense public attention. Thing which I initially wanted to bring in my movies appeared in recent debellation of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’,”opined the popular director.
“If we don’t look at budget while filming, I think it is baseless. Budget is an important consideration when one is shooting a film, because, at the end of day, it’s a business and it is not films at fail, it is budgets at fail. Though ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ didn’t include either long love story or a scene in which Sallu Bhai removes his shirt, it was all about how an actor should be treated.”
