Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor starrer latest Hindi movie OK Jaanu earned Rs 13.80 crore box office collection in the first week of its release. The film collected Rs 4.82 crore on day 3 and is expected to gross steady amount on 4th day.

Trade Analyst Taran ADarsh tweeted, “#OkJaanu saw limited growth… Affected on Sun due to cricket match… Fri 4.08 cr, Sat 4.90 cr, Sun 4.82 cr. Total: ₹ 13.80 cr. India biz.” Directed by Shaad Ali, the movie has received mixed reviews from critics.

After garnering Rs 4.08 crore on first day, the movie minted Rs 4.90 crore on 2nd day of its release. The celluloid is having a box office clash with Deepika Padukone’s Hollywood debut movie – xXx: Return of Xander Cage which collected Rs 6.75 crore on opening day.

OK Jaanu, which is a movie based on love relation between a couple who is in live-in relationship, has been seeing stagnant occupancy in theatres. The celluloid had witnessed 25% occupancy on the first day of its release.

The romantic chemistry between Shraddha and Aditya has made very low business in overseas. After amassing Rs 13.80 crore in domestic market, the movie is expected to gross total worldwide box office collection of Rs 30 crore* in its first week.
