Nargis Fakri, one of the hottest Bollywood actresses learned lavani for the upcoming Hindi movie ‘Banjo’ which also features Ritesh Deshmukh in lead role. The sizzling heroine has to appear in saari and perform as a lavani dancer in an item number in this film. Ravi Jadhav directed movie is all about the story of a band group.

According to the media reports, Nargis is doing such kind of role for the first time and is happy to learn the wonderful dance format mostly observed in Maharashtra and other regions in the country where people love to watch lavanis. The beauty queen acquiesced that it was quite instigating to learn this type of folk dance.

She further added in her interaction with the media persons that she really enjoyed grabbing the lessons about this dance form. Fakri told that the variety of body movements and striking expressions were quite difficult to learn, but somehow she took hard efforts to comprehend the techniques of rendering those dance steps.

Eros International’s production which stars Nargis and ‘Lai Bhari’ actor in main characters is slated to release on 23rd September 2016. Nargis performed the lavani dance on Udanchoo song which has been composed by Vishal-Shekhar and sung by Hriday Gattani. Amitabh Bhattacharya has penned the lyrics for this song.
