Naam Shabana 2nd Day Box Office Collection : Manoj Bajpayee’s latest Hindi movie Naam Shabana, in which Taapsee Pannu is playing a leading role, grossed Rs 5.05 crore income on day 1. Releasing on about 2100 screens in domestic arena, the film minted whopping amount on first Friday. The celluloid is expected to showcase improvement in its performance on this Saturday (1st April). The movie may collect Rs 8 crore on 2nd day of its release.
The movie, which also features Khiladi actor Akshay Kumar in cameo role, witnessed a slight growth in the theatre occupancy in morning shows on Saturday. Receiving helm response from audiences in India, the movie reported a huge occupancy in north-west Indian states – Rajasthan and Gujarat. The Hindi offering also exhibited awesome performance in south Indian arena.
As this Bollywood flick is a multilingual cinema, which has been dubbed in Tamil and Telugu languages by the movie-makers, it is getting a good response in Tamil Nadu and nearby regions. Also in the Telugu speaking states, the cinema reported a good number of footfalls in the theatres and several multiplexes. The film garnered average revenue in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in two days.
Apart from the performance in upper and lower region of the nation, the Hindi offering grossed average box office collection in central India. Responding to immense occupancy in Maharashtra and nearby states, this Bollywood cinema is expected to earn an amount of Rs 21 crore in the first week. The movie is expected to gross Rs 10 crore on Sunday (3rd day).
