Manohar Parrikar, Defense Minister of India, mentioned Amir Khan in his oration on the behalf of the Marathi version journalist-author Nitin Gokhale’s book on Siachen launch. The minister recalled controversial statement committed by the legendary actor of Indian film industry.

In November 2015, Mr. Perfectionist had expressed the sentence spoken by his wife which included the desire of moving out of India. The actor received incredible criticism over his remark and still some people keep on criticizing him over the same issue.

One such incidence took place on 2nd August 2016 when the defense minister of India indirectly disgraced the Bollywood star which he claimed derogatory and anti national. While talking about the commitment from ‘Raja Hindustani’ male lead role player, Parrikar termed it arrogant and opined that people should teach the lesson to such beings in the country.

Blaming the actors over their comments is not a new news for the crowd. Last year, Shah Rukh Khan had caught into criticism for his expressions over growing intolerance in India. Similar kind of phrases were used by Amir Khan while commenting about the social issues and hence he got ensnared in the public criticism.
