Kung Fu Yoga 2nd Day Collection Occupancy Box Office Income : Sonu Sood starrer latest Hindi flick, which battled hard with the collection of Raees on 11th day and Kaabil 11th day occupancy to make some business at box office, witnessed an average occupancy on day 2. The movie, which saw 20-25% occupancy on opening day, is expected to collect box office income in a range of Rs 2 to Rs 5 crore on Saturday.
Kung Fu Yoga 1st day collection wasn’t quite impressive for the audiences who expected much from the lead hero Jackie Chan. The martial artist-actor, who has been enthralling the audiences across the globe with his spectacular fighting skills and techniques through his films, has failed to influence his fans on larger scale.
The movie hit screens in China on 27th January and made an ample business of US$145.25 million. The celluloid released in India on February 3 and is endeavouring to beat the newly released Bollywood films Raees and Kaabil. Worldwide collection of the film is growing with a good rate but in Indian arena, the movie is failing to grab a copious public attention.
On Saturday, the movie witnessed an average occupancy as most of the screens are busy with the SRK starrer flick and Hrithik Roshan’s film. The movie, which stars Disha Patani, Miya Muqi and Amyra Dastur alongside Jackie and Sonu, has received mixed reviews from critics due to its weak plot and useless insertion of comedy in action.
Surge in the income to be generated by this celluloid can be expected only when it succeeds in attracting bounteous eyeballs. With the box office confrontation with Sanjay Gupta’s new project and Rahul Dholakia’s latest directorial, Kung Fu Yoga is expected to gross a two digit box office collection in its first weekend.
