Katamarayudu Five Days Total Box Office Collection

Shruti Hassan and South Indian superstar Pawan Kalyan starrer latest Telugu flick collected Rs 44.25 crore total box office collection in five days. The film minted Rs 3.75 crore on its first Tuesday on Indian box office. The celluloid has been showcasing fluctuating performance since the day of its release. The movie is expected to surpass 50-crore mark in seven days.

Hitting more than 1000 screens in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the south Indian offering commenced its box office journey with Rs 22.25 crore first day collection. After garnering a whopping amount on opening day, the movie witnessed drop in the response from audiences. Reporting about 50% reduction in the occupancy, the celluloid minted Rs 5.10 crore on second day.

Directed by Kishore Kumar Pardasani, the cinema exhibited a small growth in its business on 3rd day of release. The movie grossed an income of Rs 8.90 crore on Sunday and registered a total business of Rs 36.25 crore in the opening weekend. The movie performed comparatively excellent than Shruti and Pawan’s previous film Sardar Gabbar Singh.

On Monday, the celluloid reported a gradual decline in its earnings and made a business of Rs 4 crore on 4th day of its release in India. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, response from the audiences has declined for the film which garnered massive collection on the very first day. The movie is getting average response from the spectators in cinema halls and multiplexes.

Apart from this outstanding performance in domestic arena, the Telugu offering showcased immense growth in its business in overseas. Performing fabulously in the foreign countries, the movie raked a good amount and grossed a huge total worldwide collection in five days. Pawan and Shruti’s cinema is expected to enter the 100-crore club by the end of second week.
