Well known director Kabir Khan is gearing up for his new venture which is to be based on 1983 ICC World Cup. After finishing the schedule of Salman Khan and Sohail Khan starring upcoming Bollywood movie ‘Tubelight’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ director will kick off the shooting for this new celluloid which is slated to release next year.
Sources have confirmed that veteran cricketers who were the part of Indian cricket team when it won its first ICC World Cup are going to play the leading roles as coaches and mentors of the young cricketers. Kabir didn’t unveil much information about his new initiative as he’s emphasizing on keeping people curious about the same.
The star cast of this film will include Krishmachari Srikkanth, Balwinder Sandhu, Yashpal Sharma, Mohinder Amarnath, Kaipil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar, Kirti Azad and Syed Kirmani in major roles. Names of the other artists to render some major and supporting roles in this cinema are still under the wraps. According to the filmmakers, various locations in India will be chosen for the filming of this celluloid. After the final confirmation of all these things, the film will go on the floors in the initial months of 2017.
