Rajinikanth starrer ‘Kabali’ movie leaked online three days before its official release on 22nd July 2016. Producer S Thanu has filed petition to stop illegal download of the film by 180 named websites and plenty unknown sites. Shivaji Gaikwad aka Rajinikanth felt very sad on this flabbergasting piracy.

Few days ago, filmmakers had rushed to the Madras high court to ensure the movie isn’t pirated, but nothing serious action was taken in this regard as the celluloid was available online for the people who instantly preferred to go with the availability.

Yet the first day box office collection is to be estimated on its release and then only the loss due to the online leakage can be reckoned. Director is quite depressed to listen this shocking news which has not only shocked him but also stunned the crew members.

This is the third movie in this year which got leaked online. ‘Udta Punjab’ and ‘Great Grand Masti’ huge disaster due to the pirated copies which got circulated on the web few days before their releases. Out of these, GGM was hit with severe business devastation in terms of box office collections.
