Kaabil vs Raees 27th Day Collection 5th Monday Occupancy Box Office Report : Hrithik Roshan’s latest film and Shah Rukh Khan starrer movie have been confronting at box office since the day of their release. The two films now have stepped into the fifth week of their screenings in cinema halls. On 27th day, both the movies witnessed quite less response as Jolly LLB 2 11th day occupancy has already dominated most of the theatres. Raees and Kaabil are expected to report collection in some lacs on 5th Monday.
Day wise box office collections of Raees and Kaabil have double digit earnings in the opening week when both movies surpassed 50-crore club. Mahira Khan’s debut Indian flick raked a business of Rs 118.36 crore in initial three days. The celluloid reported a steep mitigation in its earnings in second week as minted Rs 16.40 crore during that tenure. Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s first film with SRK grossed Rs 2.5 crore in the third week of its release.
On other side, Sanjay Gupta directorial witnessed comparatively less response in theatres as it was clashing everyday at box office with the collection of Raees. Rakesh Roshan’s first production this year – 2017 kicked off its box office journey with Rs 82.18 crore earnings in opening week. The film registered a business of Rs 16.4 crore in second week and reported a drop of its collection to Rs 3.9 crore in following week.
The two films’ collections have been facing a stringent competition with newly released Bollywood movies, which includes Irada, Chauhar, Running Shaadi and The Ghazi Attack. SRK’s film and Yami Gautam’s movie was majorly impacted with the release of Akshay Kumar, Huma Qureshi and Anu Kapoor starrer courtroom drama, which hit screens on 9th February this year.
In overseas, Raees as well as Kaabil succeeded in divulging a major chunk of audiences. The two films grossed double digit collections in international market.In the domestic arena, Raees minted Rs 137.59 crore and Kaabil bagged Rs 103.62 crore as its total box office collection. Both the films are now grabbing very less attention from the movie-watchers and are reporting a decent occupancy in morning, noon and evening shows.
