Release date of Hritik Roshan’s upcoming Bollywood movie ‘Kabil’ has been preponed. The film will hit screens on January 25, 2017. To avoid the clash with Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Raees’, filmmakers of ‘Kabil’ have taken the decision to prepone the release date
SRK led film ‘Raees’ is releasing on the same date – 26th January, which is annually celebrated as Republic Day in India. Earlier, ‘Kabil’ was about to release on January 26, 2017. But, now its release date has been preponed. Some sources claimed that talks over the release date had been going on between the producers of ‘Kabil’ and ‘Raees’.
Rakesh Roshan said in a statement, “There have been instances in the past of movies being released mid-week especially if there is a big National holiday following it. My director Sanjay Gupta and I are in agreement on this. After hearing what our distributors have to say, we thought it makes perfect sense go with a January 25 release. “
Sanjay Gupta directed ‘Kabil’ features Yami Gautam in the role opposite Hritik. Yami and Hritik are playing visually challenged characters in this film.
