Force 2 movie has minted Rs 13.55 crores box office collection in first week. John Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha starrer latest Bollywood film earned Rs 6.05 crores on opening day. The celluloid grossed Rs 7 crores on Saturday. On Sunday also, this newly released Bollywood movie earned Rs 7 crores. At the end of first week, the movie recorded total earnings of Rs 21 crores.

Abhinay Deo directed cinema hasn’t got affected with demonetization as people crowded in the cinema halls all three days to enjoy the film. Sequel of 2011 released super hit blockbuster, directed by Nishikant Kamat, curbed average response from public domain in the initial days of its release. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted on social media about the business done by the film in its opening week.

Movies released in previous week failed to score good figures at box office due to demonetization. Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Prachi Desai and Shraddha Kapoor led ‘Rock On 2’ is one of those films which saw less reactions from people. But the new movie featuring ‘Neerja’ debutante Tahir Raj Bhasin remained unaffected of it.

Releasing across 1800 screens in the country, Vipul Amrutial Shah produced celluloid bagged 30 to 50 percent occupancy in theaters on the first day of its release. It gained similar occupancy in the cinema halls on Saturday and Sunday. ‘Force 2’ has succeeded inĀ  earning two digit income at box office in its opening weekend.
