The third installment of Singam was all about to release on January 26th, but filmmakers took the decision of postponing the film’s release date to avoid the box office clash with newly released Bollywood cinemas – Raees and Kaabil.
Singam 3 was scheduled to be released in December last year. But the makers postponed the release date due to the ‘demonetisation’ drive in the country which had affected the box office business of Rock On 2.
Also the protests for Jallikattu in Tamil Nadu were on peak which the filmmakers thought could have impacted the movie’s business. Thus, Singam 3 release date was changed from December 16 to December 23.
