Recent online movie leakages have agonized the filmmakers in Bollywood who are scaring of being victimized by the piracy. Dhishoom crew members are about to submit the encrypted format as Central Board of Film Certification has ordered to do so. This will be the first cinema in Indian film industry which is about to be submitted in encrypted form to CBFC.
Few days back, latest Hindi films ‘Great Grand Masti’ and ‘Udta Punjab’ were leaked online. This disastrous loss sucked the efforts of all those who broke their bones and wracks to create an entertaining celluloid. Makers of upcoming cinema have now adopted safety measures and are going to submit the encrypted format of their movies.
Piracy in past few weeks shattered all the endeavors of cast and crew members of films which were victimized with it. Not only celebrities but also the people working in this field raised voice against this illicit act. CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani’s new initiative is being appreciated for the avoidance of illegal piracy.
Producer Sajid Naidadwala and many of his mates in the industry backed this policy and assured to bear extra charges of digitalizing the film. Persons active in Indian cinema industry left no stone unturned in demanding protection to the censor board copies and have ended up with the initiation of this fine provision.
