Latest released musical movie ‘Rock On 2’ is observing less repercussions from public domain as the major chunk is standing in the queues outside banks and ATMs to get money in notes of Rs 100. Soon after the Indian prime minister Narendra Modi announced that the notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 will be considered as invalid in coming time, mobs crowded at banks to get the money had by them replaced with new currencies.
There is a very less attention of people towards the celluloid which released recently. Though the film has Farhan Akhtar, Shraddha Kapoor, Prachi Desai and Arjun Rampal in leading roles, people have to stand outside the ATM machines to collect the cash for using it for daily routine. Also most of the people are mobbing in banks in long queue to get their money replaced with new notes of Rs 500 and Rs 2000.
The first part i.e. ‘Rock On’ was super hit blockbuster in 2008 when it was released. But the sequel and multi starred second part of the film is observing a low response from public domain which is quite busy in gaining the money from ATMs and banks. Long queues have been being observed since last three-four days, which were expected to be for purchasing the tickets of latest film in cinema halls.
On the opening as well as following days of its release, the celluloid couldn’t seize more than Rs 2 crores a day. An immense mitigation in the interest of people for watching the new cinema has been sought with the initiation of new move taken by central government to curb the menace of corruption and black money. Filmmakers are anticipating the mobs to reach out at the theaters to watch the film in coming tenure.
