Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer latest Bollywood movie ‘Dear Zindagi’ minted Rs 1.05 crore on 12th day of its release. Till now, the movie has collected Rs 59.30 crore in domestic arena. The film has grossed Rs 123 crore world wide box office collection.
Surpassing the performances of films ‘Force 2’, ‘Rock On 2’ and ‘Tum Bin 2’ which faced demonetization effect and grossed low box office collection than expected, ‘Dear Zindagi’ movie continued to generate a good single digit income in second week. The film earned Rs. 4.25 crore on Monday, Rs. 4.00 crore on Tuesday, Rs. 3.25 crore on Wednesday, Rs. 3.00 crore on Thursday, Rs. 2.25 crore on Friday, Rs. 3.5 crore on Saturday and Rs. 4.35 crore on Sunday. The movie made a business of Rs 32.50 crore in opening week.
Gauri Shinde directed ‘Dear Zindagi’ grossed average income in overseas. In international market, SRK’s film could generate satisfactory income at box office. Though the film faced sufficient occupancy in Indian theaters due to the positive public reviews, it didn’t get much response in the foreign countries. In overseas, the film collected around $ 6 million i.e. INR 41 crores.
