The film is expected to gross a good one digit amount on day 36.

The celluloid has completed one month at Indian box office. Nitesh Tiwari directed new Hindi cinema, which was hit screens on December 23 last year, is witnessing awesome growth in its business with passage of days. In the fifth week also, the movie raked a fantabulous one digit box office collection on regular basis and is proceeding to enter 400-crore club.

The film, which revolves around the life of an illustrious Indian wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, has collected a massive income of Rs 383.78 crore in domestic market. In the second week also, the movie maintained its excellent momentum and made the business of 115.96 crores (Fri-Sun 73.70 crore and Mon-Thu 42.26 crore). With usual decline in its rate of earning, the movie minted the business of 46.35 crores (Fri-Sun 31.79 crore and Mon-Thu 14.65 crore) in the third week.

In the fourth week, Dangal faced the defiance of newly released OK Jaanu but still managed to add decent business total of 15.08 crores (Fri-Sun 10.24 crore and Mon-Thu 4.84 crore) to its account as Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur film didn’t succeed in grabbing huge response.

With a predicted drop, it amassed the amount of 8.85 crores (Fri-Sun 6.12 crore, Mon 0.94 crore, Tue 1.01 crore, Wed 0.24 crore, Thu 0.54 crore) in its fifth week. Now, the film is witnessing a tough competition with Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil and Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees. Though the challenge for Sakshi Tanwar starrer Hindi flick is hard, the movie is expected to show growth with the commencement of its sixth week of release in Indian cinema.
