Aamir Khan starrer new Hindi cinema Dangal minted box office collection of Rs 4.24 crore on 24th day of its release. The movie, which also stars TV actress Sakshi Tanwar in female lead, earned an overall collection of Rs 370.09 crore.
Nitesh Tiwari directed latest Bollywood celluloid had a stormy opening in first week. The movie made a business of Rs 109 crore in the first weekend. The film’s collection on daily basis remained stagnant throughout the first week.
The movie, which is based on the life of Indian wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his daughters, entered Rs 200 crore-club at second weekend and got enlisted in the row of the super hit blockbusters of the year.
Net approximate collection of the movie in India is Rs 516.66 crores. The film amassed an astounding collection of Rs 193.50 crores in international market.
Releasing across 4300 screens in India and 1000 screens in global arena, worldwide box office collection of the movie is expected to enter Rs 700 crore-club by the 24th day of its release.
The cinema, which also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh, Zaira Wasim, Sanya Malhotra and Suhani Bhatnagar in significant roles, has already topped the list of highest grosser Bollywood movies.
With an ample overall collection at box office, the celluloid which is produced under the banners of Aamir Khan Productions, Walt Disney Pictures and UTV Motion Pictures is expecting hike in the collections in fourth week.
