Noor vs Maatr 1st / First Day Box Office Collection Business : Newly released Bollywood movies Noor and Maatr are performing well in the cinema halls on the opening day. The two films hit on decent number of screens on 21st April and are witnessing a good occupancy in the morning shows. After receiving mixed reviews from the critics, the celluloids are expected to see hike in the occupancy in noon shows.
Featuring none other than gorgeous actress Raveena Tandon in main role, Maatr movie is witnessing theatre occupancy in the range of 15% to 35%. Alongside this Hindi flick, Sonakshi Sinha starrer Noor too is grabbing a good attention from the audiences. As both films are woman-centered, they are expected to make Rs 1 crore business on first day of release.
Apart from these latest offerings, last week released Begum Jaan and Hollywood flick Fast and Furious 8 aka The Fate Of The Furious are also having a good hold in most of the cinema halls. Audiences are still prominently preferring to go for watching these films in multiplexes. Among all these cinemas, the action thriller Hollywood movie has managed to curb maximum response from public domain.
Directed by Srijit Sarkar, Vidya Balan starrer Bollywood offering too has divulged comparatively low number of spectators in the cinema halls. The celluloid has been struggling to attract major chunk of movie-goers to its screening in theatres. The movie has earned over Rs 17 crore in its first week. On other side, Fate Of The Furious has already surpassed the two digit collection on Indian box office.
The fresh releases will also be facing an impact of the ongoing IPL tournament. The evening and night shows of all movies have been affected with this cricket league as a big number of audiences prefer to watch the cricket matches. Noor and Maatr also are going to be the victim of this situation where the films receive less response in the evening and night shows of its in the cinema halls.
