Badrinath Ki Dulhania 1st Day Collection First Friday Occupancy Income : Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer movie Badrinath Ki Dulhania is all set to hit screens on 10 March 2017. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the celluloid is expected to see around 40% occupancy in morning shows. Occupancy in noon shows as well as evening and night shows is expected to hike as the Indian cinema halls are housefull on Friday and Saturday.
The film, which is based on romantic love story between the two crazy lovers, is expected earn a whopping amount of Rs 10 crore on its opening day. As there’s no other cinema of any superstar releasing in this week, Varun Dhawan’s flick has no competition at box office. The movie’s income is predicted to soar on Saturday as it’s a half day. The celluloid’s business is expected to remain steady as most of the people will be busy in celebrating Holi festival.

Produced by filmmaker Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions, the film Badrinath Ki Dulhania is expected to register a business of Rs 30 crore in opening weekend. The second installment of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, which had minted Rs 82 crore overall business, is predicted to gross a total box office collection of Rs 100 crore in domestic arena.
The celluloid might face a box office clash with Sudeep Kishan’s Tamil flick Maanagaram which is releasing on the same day in Tamil speaking state. As no south Indian movie starring a megastar is about hit screens on March 10, Badrinath Ki Dulhania is expected to perform well in south Indian regions. Apart from witnessing an expected 40% occupancy in north and central India, the film will see a good amount of audiences’ response in the theatres.
