After the success Daredevil Season 1 Marvel brought it back the second season, which arrived in the mid-March earlier this year on Netflix. In Season 1, Matt Murdock was protecting Hell’s Kitchen, but this time around, he also had to contend with the likes of Frank Castle, a.k.a. The Punisher, and Elektra Natchios, his former lover, both of whom challenged him both physically and ideologically. But Matt turned out to be victorious at the end of Season 2, even though it came with great sacrifice. With the immense popularity of the protagonist Matt Murdock, the trailer of the third season needed to satisfy the cravings of the fans who eagerly anticipated the continuation of this series that gave a new definition to crime fighting altogether. The fact that the official trailer has not released yet we do get our hands on several fan made videos of the season 3, but till the official release let us have a look at what we know about the season 3 in the first place.
What is Daredevil Season 3 is going to be about?
Even though we do not have any official news about the release date of Daredevil Season 3 yet, we can predict where the show might go given how Season 2 ended. We know that The Hand’s latest plot may have been vanquished, but much of what they’re trying to accomplish still remains unknown. Wilson Fisk is still in prison, but after some of his strategic moves he is now the new kingpin and is out for revenge. One thing we do know is that Daredevil Season 3 will be even more entertaining than the last seasons.
Daredevil season 3 Release Date
We know that Daredevil Season 3 was officially renewed by Netflix during Comic-Con in late July. If this is the same for as the last seasons then the show would most probably return in the month of March or April of 2017. However, due to The Defenders miniseries shooting at the end of 2016, most probably there would be a delay in the release of the show. But few months ago, Netflix’s Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos confirmed that the earliest Daredevil Season 3 could premiere is sometime in 2018.
In the last season ending we saw the protagonist managing to pick up the pieces of his life, and he had started by revealing his secret identity to Karen. Matt was determined to do away with the crime that he will never give up being Daredevil, but in Season 3 he will be seen trying to have good balance between his nighttime activities and his personal relationships. He also now fully understands the value of working with others, which will definitely play into his future crime fighting endeavors.
