Newly released Bollywood movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ faced protests in Madhya Pradesh on its opening day. Karan Johar directed latest Hindi cinema’s matter has not settled down yet though the producer had meeting with Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackery over the release of film of some conditions. Some people raised protest against the release of celluloid in MP on Friday.
The screening of this cinema was hindered by some mobs who thought the film is having the role of Pakistani artist in it. Bhopal Police endeavored hard to stop these activities and succeeded in curbing situation by preventing it getting violated with the unexpected irruption from crowds. Theaters were being attempted to be stormed by some extreme groups.
The filmmakers had earlier received warnings from the political parties MNS and Bhartiy Janata Party to expunge the role of Pakistani artist from the movie. Negotiations held few days ago seemed to settle this matter down. But some extreme right wing activities continued to hamper the screening in cinema halls by raising slogans and protests against Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starred latest Indian celluloid.
