Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has cleared Aamir Khan’s Dangal with U certificate. This is a great news for Aamir Khan’s fans who are eagerly awaiting for the release of the movie which is based on the life journey of wrestler Mahavir Phogat. Nitesh Tiwari directed movie also features Sakshi Tanwar, Zaira Wasim, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra and Suhani Bhatnagar in major roles.
Censor Board of Film Certification ordered no audio or visual cut in the film. CBFC said in a statement, “We didn’t even have to weigh any pros and cons. We were unanimous in our decision that it should get a ‘U’ certificate without any cut. Dangal is about the empowerment of the girl child. Not only do we feel it should be seen by every man, woman and child we also feel it should be granted tax exemption so that more people would be able to watch it. ”
Official trailer of ‘Dangal’ released two weeks ago. It got millions of views on social media. Filmmakers are anticipating the similar kind of response from people on the movie release. The film is slated to hit screens on December 23, 2016. Crew members chose the occasion of Christmas to release their movie.
